Thibault Honegger | Founder of Peerus
As a researcher at the CNRS, Thibault Honegger experienced with his peers how timewasting an accurate monitoring research can be. As no tool was available at the time, he created his own. Tested by fellow researchers, the algorithm gave valuable results and quickly gained many followers.
Thibault earned his Engineering degree from the French Ecole Centrale of Nantes, in 2007, his M.S and Ph.D. degrees in NanoBioTechnologies and Electrical Engineering from the University of Grenoble Alpes, France,
in 2008 and 2011.
In 2012, he became a postdoctoral fellow at MIT (USA) where he began
to work on the electrokinetic confinement of axonal growth. In 2014, he joined the “Micro& Nanotechnologies for Health” team at LTM, CNRS in Grenoble
and is now working on microfluidics neuro-engineering for organs-on-chip
and implantable devices.
Benjamin Rothan | CTO
Benjamin graduated from a five year engineering scholarship in Computer Science in 2013. He completed his computing skills with a Master of Entrepreneurship in New Technologies at the University of Kent (UK).
After two years of experience as an IT project manager in Paris, Benjamin decided to return to his hometown.
Passionate about science and technologies, Peerus was the perfect fit for him, so when Thibault proposed him to join the team, he didn’t hesitate a second!
Benjamin is now technical manager in the Peerus team.
Philippe Chuzel | CCO
As a Business Development Manager, Philippe Chuzel works to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Philippe earned his MSc in Management at EM Lyon in 2013.
He then joined Bruno Bonnell's start up Awabot where he developed the activity of the tele presence robot Beam in different sectors. He's now part of the Peerus team in order to develop the company.
Robin Brochier | Machine learning Ph.D.
After 4 years at CPE Lyon, an engineering school of electronics, computer science and communication networks,
Robin spent 3 years in Berlin to study machine learning at the Technical University while working part-time as a web developer,
embedded systems designer and data scientist at the Fraunhofer Institut IPK. After graduation, he came back to Lyon to enroll in a Machine Learning Ph.D. at DSRT.
His research-oriented work, run in collaboration with the scientific laboratory ERIC and has already brought good results
in resolving problems of authors disambiguation using IA techniques. Being inspired by perspectives of future activities on research in machine learning,
Robin has a goal to provide Peerus with improvements and advanced functionalities, such as a scientific papers recommender system.
François Di Cioccio | Developer
Always curious in the field of science and technology advances, he performed a general engineering training at the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Brest. His scholarship brought him to study IA in University of Sherbrooke in Canada.
After 3 years in an IT company specialized in web and touch technologies, he decided to puts his knowledge for a clever project for the scientific community.
